The 49th European Study group Mathematics with industry will be held from 29th March until 2nd April 2004 hosted by OCIAM, the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics part of the Mathematical Institute at Oxford University.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together mathematicians and commercial companies to tackle industrial problems.

Registration is now closed. Exceptional cases should be made to study-group@maths.ox.ac.uk.

Currently the Study Groups are coordinated by the Smith Institute for Industrial Mathematics and System Engineering under a Faraday Partnership with support from EPSRC and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The workshop is also supported by ECMI (European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry).
