The registration fee includes four nights standard accommodation in
Pollock Halls of Residence, where the Study Group is being held.
All meals, from breakfast on Tuesday to lunch on Thursday, will
also be taken in Pollock Halls. No meal is provided on Monday evening
but there are quite a few restaurants
and pubs within walking distance.
Ensuite rooms are available at an additional cost of £15 per
night. Please indicate in the comment box of the registration form if
you wish to request an ensuite room.
It is intended that ESGI34 should break even and make no profit. It
has some support from the London
Mathematical Society, which will slightly defray the cost of United Kingdom
academics (i.e. staff and postgraduates working in UK universities);
it will be necessary to charge participating academics for part of the
subsistence costs.
United Kingdom academics registering after 7th March may have to be
charged the full cost of accommodation and meals.
Overseas academics are charged the full economic cost to
participate. However, overseas postdocs may apply to the
Alan Tayler fund to help defray their travel costs. Applications
